This is rose, amplified: sparkling, full-bodied, deep and velvety. Imagine a tightly furled rosebud, its petals spiralling inwards, layer upon layer of crimson silk. Each petal, saturated and uniquely contoured, unfurls into a bloom so rich it feels almost surreal. That’s what this oil captures — the essence of an entire rose garden, pressed into a single, waiting bottle.
And then, there’s the civet. Where most would use a whisper — less than 1% — I’ve dared to pour in 10%. The result? A rose that doesn’t just bloom, it growls. That unmistakable animalic undertone adds depth, sensuality, and a touch of wildness. It doesn’t tame the rose — it awakens it.
Civet is the excretion from the perennial glands of the mammal of the same name. Straight civet has an intense urinous, vomit like, offensive smell but is completely different in small amounts in perfumes.
It has a truly magical effect on florals, elevating them to new heights and opens up layers and nuances that wouldn’t otherwise be apparent. While just a few drops have a noticeable effect, a generous 10% really lets the rose blossom.

This is absolutely beautiful, the rose is dominant with its fresh and piercing floral accord, its mouthwatering beautiful with the civet adding that firey sharp nature to it, bonding with each other to create a beautiful oil. This is a must for rose lovers.
