This is a 2017 Mysore sandalwood oil — Santalum Album, steam distilled, pure and unadulterated. It is the same oil used as the carrier in several of the animalic infusions and as a base in many of the attars.
Mysore sandalwood has a warmth and creaminess that other sandalwood species rarely match. If you have only ever encountered synthetic sandalwood or lower quality oils, this will be a different experience entirely.
