Alhamdulillah. The Baqāʾ project has now come to its conclusion, and the bottles are on their way to those who supported this cause so generously.

A portion of every sale at Attar Boutique goes to charitable causes, both local and worldwide — that has always been part of how I run this small business. But Baqāʾ was something different. It was the first time I created a project solely for giving — covering every cost myself so that not a single penny was diverted from those it was meant to reach. It felt right to do it that way, and I am glad I did.

When I created Baqāʾ, I wanted it to carry intention — to be something made with the heart, for a purpose that mattered. It has been a true honour to blend this attar with the sincere intention of bringing help to those who need it most.

Through the generosity and kindness of everyone who donated and reserved a bottle, we raised £10,650 for Revive’s Gaza appeal, going directly to bringing food aid to the people of Gaza.

The boxes are now packed and the bottles are going out. I hope that everyone who wears Baqāʾ feels something of what went into it — the care, the intention, and the connection to a land and a people who deserve so much more than the world has given them.

Allah willing, this will not be the last project of this kind.

Jazākumullāhu khayran to every single person who contributed, shared, and made duʿāʾ for this project. May Allah accept it from all of us, and may He bring ease, relief, and justice to the people of Palestine.
